Product Description

  • These exquisite artisan quality tingshas are incredibly rare.  We haven't been able to source them in a few years but were able to find a handful this year!
  • Handmade and hand tuned in Nepal, this set comes inside of a handcrafted copper and brass case carved with amazing detail.
  • Tingshas are used by Buddhists as sound offerings or as a way to clear space prior to meditation.

Each tingsha features repeating seated Buddhas, dorjes, and garuda designs.  A seated Buddha promotes the energy of meditation and deep contemplation.  It indicates the perfect balance of thought, rest of the senses, and tranquility.  Symbolically, a dorje represents the 'thunderbolt of enlightenment.'

The handcrafted metal case is decorated with the mantra of compassion, Om Mani Padme Hum.  This mantra can also be seen carved into the bottom of the tingshas.  It invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.

Case measures approximately 4.5 inches in diameter.  Tingshas are about 4 inches in diameter.
